Use the "Change Product" button to select a blank product base. Several different items are available. Choose from t-shirts, caps, bags and home goods at various price points.
Steps
1. Click "Change Product".
2. A grid of the available products will appear.
3. Select desired new product.
4. The new product will replace the product currently in the editor.
Templates are pre-designed collections of clipart, text and images that can be further customized. Each blank product base has a specific decoration type. Please use the appropriate template (printing or embroidery) for the product base.
Please use the "Category" drop-down or search box to find the best template for your requirements.
Elements of the template can be edited. Change text, font type or clipart colors. Add elements by clicking on additional items to the left. Remove elements by clicking on the "X" associated with the item in the design or by deleting the item in the "Layers" tab.
See the "Clipart" help section for steps on how to edit the elements of the design.
To save your design for future use, select File > Save to My Designs from the main menu.
For vector based clipart, both the fill and outline can be edited. If multiple cliparts are used in the same design, use the "Layers" tab to isolate parts of the design for easier editing.
Steps for editing:
1. Add the clipart the scene.
2. Click on the clipart.
3. If the clipart has one element, click on the color picker in the top menu to recolor.
4. If the clipart is complex, click on the magic wand in the top menu to recolor.
5. You will then be able to select the portion of the clipart to be edited.
6. The color picker in the magic wand editor can then be used to recolor the stroke (outline) and the fill.
7. You can also use the slider to change the width of the stroke (outline).
In the "Images" section, use the "Resources" tab to locate images to add to the scene. You will be able to choose free images from Pixabay or link your own images from Facebook or Instagram. For images you upload, please insure you have the rights you use the image. We are prohibited from printing images without the appropriate license. We will have to reject images that do not carry the appropriate permissions. Images may be used in their original dimensions, or they can be clipped into a vector shape, clipart or text element.
Steps to Mask/Clip an Image Into a Vector or Text Element:
1. Add an image or photo to the scene.
2. Add a clipart or text element to the scene.
3. Select the image.
4. In the image editing menu, select the "star".
5. Select which vector (clipart or text) you would like to use as a mask.
6. The image will be placed (clipped) inside the shape of the vector or text.
